Tax Risk - SOX 404 ........ RED HAT INC (CIK - 1087423 /SIC - 7370) Warning!

This company Red Hat Inc openly acknowledges its vulnerability to SOX 404 as reported below.

They may not be able to accurately or timely report, identify and reduce fraud, resulting in their financial position being potentially being harmed, causing a negative effect on their share price. They have obviously not heard of the 7 Habitual Tax Mistakes.

Have You?

Here is the link to the report:

We may be exposed to potential risks if we do not have an effective system of disclosure controls or internal controls or fail on an ongoing basis to properly address Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

We must comply, on an on-going basis, with the requirements of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (“SOX”), including those provisions that establish the requirements for both management and auditors of public companies with respect to reporting on internal control over financial reporting.

We cannot be certain that measures we have taken, and will take, will be sufficient or timely completed to meet the Section 404 requirements on an on-going basis, or that we will be able to implement and maintain adequate disclosure controls and controls over our financial processes and reporting in the future, particularly in light of our rapid growth, international expansion and changes in our products and services, which are expected to result in on-going changes to our control systems and areas of potential risk.

If we fail to maintain an effective system of disclosure controls or internal control over financial reporting, including satisfaction of the requirements of Section 404 of SOX, we may not be able to accurately or timely report on our financial results or adequately identify and reduce fraud.

As a result, the financial position of our business could be harmed; current and potential future shareholders could lose confidence in us and/or our reported financial results, which may cause a negative effect on our trading price; and we could be exposed to litigation or regulatory proceedings, which may be costly or divert management attention.

Is tax a problem in your business?

Is FIN 48 or SOX 404 with the IRS an ongoing tax risk problem?

Its easier to overcome than you think.

My name is Daniel N. Erasmus, and I have spent the last 7 years researching and implementing tax risk management systems for major multi-national corporations.

These corporations include giants like SABMiller listed on the FTSE 100 on the LSE, Nampak with over 90 packaging plants in Africa and Europe, Accenture and many other corporations. This excludes all the CFO's and Tax Managers that have attended my Tax Risk Management workshops over the years.

During this time I have discovered a set of universal tax principles that, when applied to my clients, have delivered results that have saved then $ Billions in taxes collectively. So much so that some Revenue departments started sending their in-house advisors to come find out what I was teaching!

The principles apply equally to businesses LARGE and SMALL. So SIZE does NOT count here! I showed them how, in a neat non adversarial environment, how to identify and effectively manage all their tax risks effectively and at very low cost.

The results: An IRS that is happy that you are compliant, CEO's and CFO's with the piece of mind that SOX 404 is really sorted out as far as taxes go, and FIN 48 liabilities dealt with so efficiently there is no problem going forward in time.

I'd like to teach you the 7 simple tax principles, by showing you first and foremost how to avoid the "7 Habitual Tax Mistakes". The title of my book jammed full of:

case studies
practical tips
flow charts that are easy to understand -the Polarity Management system applied to tax
Six Sigma applied to tax
tables filled with easy to understand principles.
When you have read this book, you will be able to:

maximize tax risk awareness in your company or business
know how to implement a tax saving tax strategy
know how to best use your tax advisors when most needed
identify all your tax risks on an ongoing basis, eliminating the risks and saving $ in the six figures or more...
I won't be teaching you any new technical tax principles.

I will be teaching you a universal methodology to manage your tax risk always to overcome any IRS challenges, and SOX 404 and FIN 48 compliance problems.
